Zero Waste 2025. started in Zagreb

Kicking off the 29th season of the Plazma Youth Sports Games in Croatia—with the Zero Waste project!
For the fourth year in a row, in partnership with Coca-Cola HBC, we are running the “Zero Waste – Be Part of the Game – Save Our Planet” initiative, combining sports and sustainability education. This season, we’ll visit every county in Croatia, hosting 30 educational and sports events to inspire young people to adopt eco-friendly habits.
Through an interactive educational quiz, participants explore environmental challenges and solutions, while the YSG sports polygon teaches them proper waste sorting in a fun and engaging way. As part of its “World Without Waste” initiative, Coca-Cola continues to drive positive environmental change through this project.
The season kicked off with an incredible atmosphere at NC Šalata, joined by Darko Vučić, Head of the Sector for Development and Competitive Sports at the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, and Ante Erceg, NK Gorica footballer.
So far, this initiative has brought together 168.896 children across Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and Slovenia. Through play, teamwork, and education, we are shaping environmentally conscious and physically active generations.
