International finals – Split, August 19 – 24

From August 19th to 24th, Split hosted Alta banka the International Finals of Plazma Youth Sports Games, bringing together young athletes from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Slovenia. These talented competitors, who had already proven themselves as national champions, came to Split to participate in ten different sports disciplines, including Coca-Cola Cup, basketball, handball, football, volleyball, tennis, table tennis, beach volleyball, chess, dodgeball, and athletics.
Starting in January, these young athletes have journeyed through regional and national qualifiers, culminating in this exciting international finale. Beyond competition, this was an opportunity for these young sports enthusiasts to meet peers, enjoy the sun and sea, and connect with their sporting idols.
The highlight of the event was the thrilling Coca-Cola Cup finals, with medals awarded by football legends Aljoša Asanović and Igor Štimac, as well as North Macedonian Minister of Sports Borko Ristovski, Serbian Minister of Sports Zoran Gajić, and the president of Plazma Youth Sports Games, Zdravko Marić.
This year 328,870 participants joined Plazma Youth Sports Games.
