35,000 elementary school students participated in Zero Waste sports and educational programs in Croatia

Plazma Youth Sports Games started this season in Croatia with sports and educational programs Zero Waste - Be part of the game - Let's protect our planet.

During January and early February, we held as many as 30 Zero Waste events and visited all counties in Croatia. We socialized with more than 35,000 children and young people from Karlovac, Rugvica, Prelog, Donja Dubrava, Konjščina, Sisak, Našice, Osijek, Vukovar, Zagreb, Pleternica, Velika Gorica, Poreč, Varaždin, Nova Gradiška, Otočac, Rijeka, Dubrovnik, Makarska, Šibenik, Zadar, Bjelovar, Končanica, Sveti Petar Orehovac. The participants learned about the environment, responsible behavior towards the environment, and the use of natural resources through quizzes. They also competed in the speed and skill of sorting waste on a specially designed green YSG training ground.

Through its platform, Plazma Youth Sports Games encourages children and young people to engage in sports and a sporty lifestyle, positive lifestyle habits, and, thus, the importance of preserving nature and our environment. With our partners, Coca-Cola Croatia, we will conduct education campaigns and events throughout the year on all sports fields and playgrounds.
